Montgomery Homeowner Wins the #MyAlabamaHome Selfie Contest!
Twenty-two entries were received, and more than 2,100 votes were cast in the #MyAlabamaHome Selfie Contest that wrapped up July 7 on AHFA's Facebook page.
AHFA launched the #MyAlabamaHome Selfie Contest on June 1 to celebrate National Homeownership Month. The contest was open to anyone who used an AHFA program to buy their home (or who closed on a home in June using an AHFA program).
Entrants simply needed to snap a selfie inside or outside their home and tell us what they love most about their Alabama home, post it to AHFA's Facebook page during the month, and use the hashtag #MyAlabamaHome.

Must be 18 to enter
One entry per household
Contest is open to customers who have used an AHFA program to finance the purchase of their home
Entries will be verified within our system and any ineligible entries will be deleted
Selfies must be taken inside or outside the home purchased using an AHFA program and tell us what you love most about your Alabama home
Entry must be include the hashtag #MyAlabamaHome
Entries will be accepted through 11:59 CT on June 30
Entries will be combined into an album for voting July 3-7
Facebook users can vote for their favorite selfie by liking a photo in the album
The winner will be the selfie with the most likes
The winner will be announced and notified on July 10
Customer with the most likes will win a $250 gift card
Winner will be notified by email and has 72 hours to respond. If no response is received within 72 hours, the second place finisher will be the new winner.
Gift card prize will be delivered to the winning customer
Individuals and family members of those who work at Alabama Housing Finance Authority are not eligible to win
The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning
Only entries received are eligible to win
Any and all disputes arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama
